Abstract: As a basis for the application of learning games in the Spelling subject, Khmer textbook volume 4, within the scope of this article, we will focus on studying the theoretical basis of learning games, the reality of teaching Khmer Spelling at ethnic minority boarding schools in Tra Vinh province, the content of the Spelling subject in the Khmer textbook 4. From that, we will suggest that design appropriate game types in Spelling subject teaching.
